Wow! I cannot believe what an amazing job “parties with character” did at our daughter’s 6th birthday party! Our theme was “Barbie: life in the dream house” and she was able to create a BRAND NEW character for the party. She spent a month prepping by watching the show and learning the ins and outs of the character and really knocked it out of the park—all the kids, and the adults were enamored and so impressed with her portrayal—some women were even getting misty eyed listening to her talk and give responses to the girls, especially when she was empowering the kids by saying that she had over 100 careers and that they could be anything they wanted to be when they grow up—exactly the message I love about Barbie! SHE was THE hit of the party and so many people have asked for her info to hire her for their next events—and my daughter will be talking about her for the next year at least! Totally worth every penny to make the day magical for our girl. I would hire her again in a second!!
I tend to be skeptical about many "princessy" things and the shallow messages that often come with them. I took my daughter to library event where Jess portrayed Barbie, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the opposite. She had fun with the fashion side of Barbie and also emphasized individual style. She took the time to connect with every child and affirmed them in a genuine way. She was a real person, not simply an actor performing. I highly recommend Parties with Character for a magical moment with your kids!
My daughter and I have attended two Parties with Character birthday parties! Both parties were magical! Jessica stayed in character the entire time and kept everyone entertained with her beautiful voice and engaging activities. She made all of the children feel very special. I can’t wait for Jessica to star as Barbie at my daughter’s birthday party!
